Established in 1925, the original “Phillip Island Butchery” was transformed into Island Quality Meats & Seafood in March 2005 by Kylie Rowden and Grant Hosking.

 

Prior to their permanent move to Phillip Island and subsequant purchase of this Island icon, Kylie worked with the National Meat Association of Australia training butchers in Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety which led her to further studies to attain her Master of Business Management.

 

With her Master Butcher Aaron Penry at the helm (awarded Apprentice of the Year 2002), Kylie is currently undergoing her Certificate III in Meat Retailing through William Angliss in Melbourne to become a qualified butcher.
